This workshop is the first event in the 2021 Southwest Virtual Education Series collaborative.

Speakers:

Aaron Little
Managing Director, BKD, LLP

Aaron has more than 15 years of experience with BKD and oversees the operations of BKD Health Care Billing Services, a special team that manages the billing and revenue cycle operations for more than 100 home care, hospice and senior living organizations throughout the nation.

A CPA and leading national home care and hospice consultant, he routinely performs revenue and accounts receivable recovery services, revenue cycle operations assessments, client training and related services. He also frequently consults with providers and legal counsel on billing and operations compliance matters, including assisting providers with compliance audits required by the Office of Inspector General and program integrity contractors.

Aaron also performs financial and operational consulting services for home care and hospice organizations, including operations reviews, productivity assessments, benchmarking, and Medicare and Medicaid cost report preparation.

 

Katie Wehri
Director of Home Care & Hospice Regulatory Affairs, National Association of Home Care & Hospice (NAHC)

Katie Wehri has over 25 years of experience in home health and hospice, holding several executive-level positions, with extensive and direct knowledge of industry operations, regulation, accreditation standards, interpretation and compliance, quality assessment, and performance improvement programming and compliance programs. She is the Director of Home Health and Hospice Regulatory Affairs for the National Association for Home Care and Hospice (NAHC) and is educated with a bachelor's degree in health care administration and human resources from the Bowling Green State University in Ohio.
